Qualtech Products Industry Professional Dupont Impact Tester is applicable to test the impact qualities of coating material. The coating material is being applied onto the specimen then the impact test series is being performed for evaluation and research.
In brief to perform a DuPont Impact Test the coated specimen is placed on the Dupont Impact Tester face up. A specified Impact Head with a certain diameter and shape supported by a specified weight is dropped onto the specimen from a certain height. After the impact the damage and deformation the DuPont Impact Head has caused on the specimen and coating is being evaluated for research purposes and is being used for comparison regarding endurance and quality of the coating material. The DuPont Impact Test is being repeated for several times to complete a DuPont Test Series.
